This policy describes the scope, eligibility, and procedures for changes affecting a certification cycle of various Global Seafood Alliance (GSA) Standards.
The RFVS Criteria are underpinned by the RFVS certification requirements outlined in this document – the “RFVS Auditor Compliance Guide.”
The Global Seafood Alliance conducts several Auditor Training Courses each year, in different regions around the world, teaching seven possible auditor competencies. Participants include New Auditor Candidates, Returning Auditors, and Observers. Qualifications for auditor training must be met and maintained according to the requirements of the standard.
